Before You Go: Good to Know
Passport Required
You’ll need your passport to cross the border and register your entry into Transnistria. No visa is required for EU and US citizens.
Bring Cash
Credit cards are rarely accepted, and ATMs are scarce. We recommend bringing cash in Moldovan Leu, Euros, or US Dollars. The local Transnistrian Ruble can also be exchanged on arrival.
